Argument for retention

Keep - I created this page after the following statement was placed on my personal page by Jezhotwells:

Hi, I reverted your recent edit as the redlink to Great British Circus is fine as an article may be created. That is one of the main reasons for creating such links. Just because the page does not exist is not a reason for removing such redlinks. I refer you to WP:REDDEAL. Cheers. Jezhotwells (talk) 19:00, 19 October 2009 (UTC)"

I had simply removed the link that he had put in to a blank page. He anticipated this page being created in future. I then created that page.

I would argue that its notability rests on its unusual (in the UK) stance on retaining live animals in its circus performances. It was also referred to in allegations against Noahs Ark Zoo Farm in a BBC programme aired on Monday 19 October 2009. This was also covered in the Daily Mail and elsewhere:

In addition, the company's owner is the largest breeder of tigers in the UK and provided the tigers used in the famous Esso Oil adverts in the 1970s.

• Considerable press coverage of this company.
• Notability of company's owner.
