To-do, preliminary[edit]

Removed notability tag, my edits here barely scrape the surface of the history and ecological importance, and I have not addressed fur trading or fishing. However I do believe notability is established.

  • Many hits on Google, particularly at the Glenbow Museum. I focused on demonstrating notability, but anyone who wants to did can find plentiful material.
  • In particular, many images historic and not, but I lack the context and copyright knowledge for Canada. Hopefully the categories will help it find editors, because there is real potential for a gallery.
  • Not sure if this specific area was involved in the big recent floods, someone should check as they were certainly notable
  • Many fish species listed on provincial Park website; not sure if any are endangered or whether their importance is environmental or recreational.
  • A lot of documentation of the fur trade. (Hudson's Bay Co)
  • Mention someplace of importance to indigenous peoples
  • References should be expanded; put in the bare minimum to expedite a rescue I didn't really have the time to do. But they look reliable and authoritative, more material there Elinruby (talk) 23:32, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
