Recent changes[edit]

Due to the recent changes where the old Big Brother infoboxes are to be replaced with {{Infobox reality competition season}} there have been editors reverting the changes made. This is to clarify some of these changes:

Runner-up has always been given a special designation in the Big Brother infobox and in the new {{Infobox reality competition season}} should be placed there as well. Just because Survivor doesn't include the runner-up doesn't have an impact on Big Brother. Gran Hermano is part of Big Brother and the guidelines should be consistent.
The Entered/Exited/Status columns from the old infoboxes have been moved to the Housemates table. This was part of the discussions that helped reach the consensus to merge the old infoboxes into {{Infobox reality competition season}}.
Per WP:ACCESSABILITY when using colors the color should be consistent throughout the article. If the Winner is green in one section then Winner should be green in all section not green and yellow. Also yellow is for immunity it is confusing when the same shade of yellow is used for both immunity and the finalists.

Eventually all Gran Hermano articles will look like this one and it is disruptive to keep reverting edits done to this one without discussing them. Alucard 16_{❯❯❯ chat?} 06:04, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The runner-up thing may have some sense in other countrys cause of the show's format but in Spain's Big Brother I don't think it's important considering there's not price money for second place and that there are 4 finalists. As far as I'm aware the American and possibly the Australian and English Canadian gave the runner-up a prize. However the old infobox gave the Winner and Runner-up a special distinction from the other Housemates. With the new infobox this should continue for the top two Housemates. New table style[edit]

Derurta This will be applied to all Big Brother and Gran Hermano articles however this will take some time as these old infoboxes are used on over 300+ articles. This one got moved first as it was a season that was currently airing. Once the American, Australian, British and English Canadian articles have been converted the next will be the American and Spanish Gran Hermano articles.
