I am not certain about how to do a review, but this article is really short, but it it is correct. Christie was one of the leading British spies in Germany in the 1930s and was closely associated with Sir Robert "Van" Vansittart, the Francophile and Germanphobic Permanent Undersecretary at the Foreign Office between 1930-38 and the Chief Diplomatic Adviser to the government in 1938-41.
