December 2020[edit]

Pages are renamed by moving them to new target names. This procedure preserves the page's edit history. Please do not rename a page by copying/pasting its content to a new page name. If you have an account that is at least four days old and have made more than 10 edits (autoconfirmed), you can move a page yourself, but please first review Wikipedia:Article titles. If you still wish to rename the page, go to it, click the drop-down menu at the top (near the History button and Watchlist star), and choose Move. You can then specify a new name for the article. The old page name will automatically become a redirect to the new page. However, if you think the move would be at all controversial you should request the move on the talk page using the Wikipedia:Requested moves process. Even where a move is uncontroversial, if the desired target page name already exists and is other than a redirect with only one edit, you will need an administrator to move the page for you, which can be requested at the technical requests section of requested moves. Hope this helps.

Far too much detail[edit]

Please remove all but the most important/significant books from the book list and all but the most important/significant parts of his career from that section.

As written, it looks too promotional because of the unnecessary level of detail.

I removed ALL of the publications other than "books," if any of them are very important to his career or are "notable" in their own right, those individual items can be restored.

Wikipedia is NOT a resume, c.v., or similar publication. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 21:32, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Deleted non-notable early life material and non-notable books. BuckyRodgers (talk) 10:35, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I’m new to this, so if others want to restore my edits please do. Thanks. BuckyRodgers (talk) 10:36, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. FYI, if there was a "wiki for Christian leaders" similar to the various other "special purpose Wiki-based web sites" out there like the many fiction-related wikis at https://www.fandom.com/, that might be the place to have a "full" history of this man's life as a Christian and the events leading up to his becoming one. This message is not an endorsement of fandom.com, that's just the hosting site for a particular wiki that I am familiar with. It is also not a suggestion that you actually go out and create such a wiki or create an entry for this person on a site like that if one exists already. It's just saying that if there is a place on the Internet for such material, that may be the type of site that would want it. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 16:18, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
