To an administrator

Please change the title of the page to "Goodbye Little Darlin' Goodbye", which is the title song was published under. This article was created by a Johnny Cash fan, who apparently released song as album track in 1959 under an abreviated title. I am updating the article to include cover versions and legal references, I just need help changing title. I will update Autry discography and singles list. Thanks

@Tillywilly17: You don't have to be an administrator to move a page. You've asked for the article to be moved to "Goodbye Little Darlin' Goodbye" (with no commas) and mentioned two sources listing the title as "Goodbye, Little Darlin' Goodbye" with a comma. Some of the sources list the title as "Goodbye, Little Darlin', Goodbye" (with two commas). I don't know what the right answer is, so I've added the {{requested move}} template above for you. Happy editing! — Preceding unsigned comment added by GoingBatty (talkcontribs) 03:06, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree there with your observation re comma. I decided to submit with no comma when I uploaded scan of first record release, which had no comma (see article picture). I consent to title with the comma also, it could go either way. Thanks for your help. Tillywilly17 (talk) 19:12, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Relisted to hopefully develop a consensus about the comma situation. BegbertBiggs (talk) 00:10, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm the one who created the article, and I support the move. Sorry for not knowing Gene Autry's original, I will check it on YouTube.
As for the commas, I don't have an opinion. I tend to use commas (in the articles' titles), but sometimes they are nowhere to be found when I search the net. (Sometimes I think that a title just looks better without commas. Not sure if this is the case here. On the original shellac releases, there are no commas. See Discogs → [1].) --Moscow Connection (talk) 00:51, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thinking about it, I'm inclined towards "Goodbye, Little Darlin', Goodbye" (with commas). --Moscow Connection (talk) 21:07, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
