References[edit]

I don't have references --because there really aren't any to my knowledge, but I'm a book dealer, who has dealt with more than a few of them. While the Philadelphia Inquirer did carry Gold Seal novels, they were syndicated and other papers such as The Detroit Free Press and Toronto Star and, I believe, The Chicago Herald also carried them --usually with the same artwork, but I have found at least one instances where the text was the same, but another artist was used on the same novel.

Also, the words "Gold Seal" were used on them until the late 1930's. Before that they were just ""THE SUNDAY NOVEL...Complete in this Issue" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.8.242 (talk) 01:00, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
