Gold Bridge, British ColumbiaGold Bridge – This a unique town name and under WPCanada dab practices should have the comma-province removed. Gold Bridge redirects here. Skookum1 (talk) 06:08, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • A surprised support. I guess gold-colored bridges would be at Golden Bridge instead. I didn't even find a reason to make a Gold Bridge (disambiguation). Red Slash 22:24, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • point of information, the bridge at Gold Bridge when it was opened was called the Southfork Bridge (the South Fork of the Bridge River is the Hurley River; a mine at the opening of the Hurley Canyon about a mile away is locally called Southfork; I haven't made an article for it yet, though it does show up in books like Ghost Towns of British Columbia. Unlike others in that book, it's still an operating mine/camp - but not considered part of Gold Bridge. The bridge itself got painted gold at some point (not with glitter, just a yellow) but I think that's long worn off. Gold Bridge as as town existed before that bridge, also. And yes, the only conceivable article would be Gold Bridge Elementary School or Gold Bridge Community Association or Gold Bridge Chamber of Commerce = the last one may wind up as an article because of the very many notable people who founded it, but I don't see a point of writing it yet; and sources for it are back in Canada (I'm now in Thailand).Skookum1 (talk) 02:57, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
