Article title[edit]

"The Quarterback (Music From the TV Series)" is a very unusual way to title this article. A more appropriate or common name might be "The Quarterback (EP)"; there does need to be a differentiator from the Glee episode the music comes from, which is titled The Quarterback. Amazon's listing for the EP is just "The Quarterback"; assuming this charts on the Billboard 200, or at least the Soundtracks chart, that should give a good indication of its actual title. The cover does have "Glee" on it, which would normally have indicated something like "Glee: The Quarterback"; this may prove to be the name it charts by, as Billboard lists it this way here.

Rather than go through a bunch of article moves, I'd like to suggest we sit tight until something more definitive and reliably sourced comes along. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:09, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Soundtracks chart, it's Glee: The Quarterback, which frankly matches the EP's cover. Absent strong objection, I'll be moving this very soon. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:07, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Moved per above suggestion. Although ITunes used the title The Quarterback (Music From the TV Series), Billboard uses Glee: The Quarterback, as does the album cover. The previous title was also awkward, in that it implied a TV series named "The Quarterback", which is not the case here. 162 etc. (talk) 15:28, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
