I'll take a look at this shortly. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 14:52, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Prelim[edit]

  • No duplicated links (bar DFC in the lede which is fair enough)
  • Image correctly licensed
  • Article is stable
  • Earwig reports copyvio unlikely

Lede and infobox[edit]

  • Useful to include what he flew prior to Defiants if we're including every aircraft after that point
  • I have revised the lead a little regarding aircraft flown. Zawed (talk) 03:13, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Early life[edit]

  • "at the Wellington Technical College"
  • "serial number" should be "service number"

Second World War[edit]

  • To avoid lots of "form": "The squadron was newly reformed for night fighting..."
  • Can we give a date for flying officer promotion?
  • "Middle East" would be better called "Mediterranean"
  • Done, plus a slight tweak to place the location of Malta. Zawed (talk) 03:13, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Identify who Shores and Williams are, e.g. military historians
  • Did Josling survive?
  • Yes, he did, I have made this more explicit. Zawed (talk) 03:13, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link the whole of the Gazette name

References[edit]

  • References look good. AGF for print sources.
