Is this really a list?[edit]

Is this really a "list" or just a standard article? The number of notable people could easily fall under a list heading in a normal article (if that makes sense). To me, this appears to be an article about German Jewish military personnel of World War I rather than a list. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 00:33, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When I started out the article it was supposed to be a list but the number of quality German language sources meant there was much more information available then I thought. As to the list of personnel I hope it will gradually expand as other editors might contribute and add more names. I certainly don't have any objection to the article being moved to a new title, lets say German Jewish military personnel of World War I, if other editors think it is the more suitable title. That sounds like a good title. Lets give it a day or two to see if there are any objections. Thank you for this article, its an important part of German history that the Nazis tried to erase. If it does become a standard article, it might be worth adding some headings to break up the content (say, pre-WWI, WWI, Nazi Germany, and post-WWII). I added sub-headers, as suggested, and expanded the intro a bit. Calistemon (talk) 01:47, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Brilliant work Calistemon! There's no denying that this is a full blown article now rather than a list, so I shall go ahead and move it. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 14:36, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
