Law Degree

Gerald Ford earned his law degree from Yale in 1941. However, until the 1960s, universities were awarding LLB degree. Not the JD. Did Ford earn a JD or LLB degree?--RandomUserGuy1738 (talk) 17:13, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

The article's claim that Ford received a JD is unsourced, and Yale Law School did not confer JDs back in the 1940s (in fact, it was the last major law school in the U.S. to switch from the LLB to the JD, not doing so until 1971), so I'm going to make the correction that you suggested. Good catch! AuH2ORepublican (talk) 06:05, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
