  • The section on annexing is confusing. [url=http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2007_08/fulltext/sb89.htm]The bill[/url] states "(2) A description of the area to be included in the township which shall not include any area that is a part of an active, incorporated municipality in the State of Georgia and which shall be comprised of a single, contiguous geographical area containing at least 500 acres, containing an average resident population density of at least 200 persons per square mile, and in which at least 10 percent of the total geographical area is used or is zoned for purposes other than residential uses;". However, the Wikipedia article states "A referendum would also be required, as well for the township to be annexed by a municipality.". Should that instead read, "Additionally, a referendum would also be required for the township to be annexed by a municipality." Netdragon (talk) 09:45, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
