George L. Rockwell's Mother[edit]

I believe that George Lovejoy Rockwell's mother was Mary MacPherson from Canada and not Ms. Holden as currently stated in this article. In the 1900 US census it shows that his father is married to a Mary from Canada who married her husband the year before George Rockwell's birth. Also, I found a Sons of the American Revolution application listing Mary MacPherson.

The evidence presented for Rockwell's parentage on the Wiki article now just shows a sister's mother as Ms. Holden. I assume that was a first wife and the father later remarried to Mary MacPherson, making her his second wife. ElkanahTingley (talk) 00:11, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
