Status of article's subject?[edit]

I was browsing Regan's bibliography and noticed he hadn't written anything since the mid-2000s (reissues of popular titles by publishers aside) and the relevant page on his website was last archived by the Wayback Machine on 10 March 2005. On Wikipedia, I noticed a 7-year-old interaction (1 & 2), where a user identified themselves as the author's son and argued Regan had died on 28 March 2005, though they were only able to provide a tenuous entry in the Autumn 2005 issue of Kent university's magazine (page 23) as proof. Google's summary box when searching for his name, meanwhile, does return a death year of 2005, which I assume references this entry in the library catalog of the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, as found on Regan's Wikidata item. Since I have been unable to find an obituary or any press acknowledgement of Regan's potential passing, is someone able to shed some light on this peculiar situation? --NFSreloaded (talk) 20:53, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
