Sources[edit]

Three of the sources in the current version (permalink - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gene_Stuart&oldid=807678144) are all obits/news of his death, and the remaining one is about the Mighty Avons. I think there's enough for notability here, but I think some earlier sources and/or sources that are not related to his death would help. I couldn't find much online, but as his work is pretty much pre-Internet, perhaps there are some offline sources out there? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:01, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am currently trying to get some offline resources and will put them up when available, thanks for the review XyzSpaniel Talk Page 14:07, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That would be great. Having seen that Mighty Avons redirects to Larry Cunningham. I can't help thinking the band is notable enough for its own article - a fair bit of the Larry Cunningham article is actually about the band, and there are some band-related sources there. I might get some information on them also for a new article, my mothers attic is a treasure trove for bits and pieces like this, both bands and singers were huge in Ireland in the 70's when I was a teenager - as you say long before internet! Oh yes, if she has any old newspapers or magazines that cover them, that would be great. I'll keep Mighty Avons on my watchlist too. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:15, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
