Early comments[edit]

I certainly think this article should NOT be deleted - a the links at the bottom of the page or just a Google search for genie review provides several reviews of the program. Further, since it's a software program which is automatically installable with Ubuntu Linux, I'd say that also warrants its inclusion. I recommend the {{notability}} tag be removed. --AndyKali (talk) 01:28, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually that is not the policy. There needs to be a significant coverage by reliable independent sources of the subject of the article. If you can show those, the article can be kept. W Nowicki (talk) 19:14, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody know, what does the name stand for or what did it come from? Although I'm not sure if it is important enough to be included in the article itself, at least here it would be nice to find that information -UserHuge (talk) 00:58, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

the logo suggests it's Genie from the bottle.Errarel (talk) 23:32, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
