[Untitled][edit]

Hello, I work for GE Renewable Energy. I had previously been chatting with JohnCD about this page, but he sadly died, and we didn't take it further.

I don't propose to edit this page myself for obvious reasons, but would offer up a couple of edits that might make things clearer - up to you if you take them up.

1) GE Renewable Energy is made up of four sub-businesses (Sub-Divisions) - onshore wind, offshore wind, hydro and LM Wind Power (who manufacture blades). You've covered the first three, but not the last. You can see from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Electric#Acquisitions_and_divestments that 'In October 2016, GE Renewable Energy agreed to pay €1.5 billion to Doughty Hanson & Co for LM Wind Power during 2017.[74]' The citation is http://www.windpowermonthly.com/article/1411839/ge-acquires-lm-wind-power, though others are available.

LM Wind Power have their own entry at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LM_Wind_Power. They go to market as 'LM Wind Power, a GE Renewable Energy business'.

2) There are two urls on this GE Renewable Energy page. The one at the bottom under 'External Links' is correct - www.ge.com/renewableenergy. There's a link in the top right summary box called 'Website' that points at www.gerenewableenergy.com. This works, but redirects to www.ge.com/renewableenergy. You might want to make these match.

3) There is no logo. If you wanted to add one, it's the same as on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Electric, specifically https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:General_Electric_logo.svg

Thank you for your consideration. Simon Langford Sehlangford (talk) 09:02, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
