Tomo picture

I don't know how to replace a picture, but the picture of Tomo on this page is of Tomo-chan from Azumanga Daioh. This really needs to be replace. -- qurgh The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.211.73.125 (talk • contribs) .

I commented out the image until it can be replaced with the correct pic. --日本穣 05:40, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Moved article

Moved from Talk:Fushigi Yûgi. --Aponar Kestrel 23:54, 2004 Jul 28 (UTC)

Um, every English-speaking anime fan I know calls this Fushigi Yuugi, and it's serialized in English under that name. I think it should be there. - Montréalais 06:59, 12 Aug 2003 (UTC)
This site uses "Fushigi Yûgi", so I moved it to here. WhisperToMe 16:32, 22 May 2004 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Manual of Style for Japan-related articles indicates use of macrons within text (Fushigi Yūgi) and short vowels in article titles (Fushigi Yugi) if I'm reading it correctly. DenisMoskowitz 21:43, 2004 Jun 28 (UTC)
You are. Moved. --Aponar Kestrel 23:55, 2004 Jul 28 (UTC)
Fushigi Yûgi is an official spelling. WhisperToMe 13:59, 4 Jul 2004 (UTC)

What happened to the manga?

Is it just me or did this page used to be based on the manga other than the anime? What happened to that? And if I have gone mad and it was always like this, why isn't there a page on the manga? Surely the manga is more well-known? User:Germs

It's about both, but more people have been adding anime-specific information. Please correct this if you can, by adding information about the differences between the versions. DenisMoskowitz 18:16, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

I think this article needs to go through some serious grammatical revisions. Not only that, but I think it's littered with personal opinions of the author, and even "fangirl" lingo.

Personally, I'd do it myself, but my account is quite new and I'm still learning the ropes. ;] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vozhdaya (talkcontribs) .

Go for it, Vozhdaya - be bold! We can always fix things later. DenisMoskowitz 21:25, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
I'll do some corrections as well. 17:11 25 April 2006 (UTC)Shaojian (talk
I added to and tweaked the info a bit so as to reflect more of the manga as well. I also fixed some grammatical and punctuational errors too. But mostly just added left out info.RecklessFire 03:08, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Speaking of differences, can somebody verify what volume/episode it is revealed that Yui was NOT, in fact, raped? I'm wondering if that is anime-only. (User:MitchellTF)

She wasn't? I thought the whole anime series (haven't read the manga) was about people out to rape her...anyways, I just glanced through the article, and found only a few mistakes, so I guess you guys probably had done most of the fixing already (or it could just be that my English sucks)Imnowei (talk) 16:24, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Summary

Added a plot summary, coz it seriously needed one. It covers most of the first manga volume. Hoping to add on other stuff ASAP. --HS Yuna 19:37, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Fushigi Yuugi Video Games

There are two recent Fushigi Yuugi video games, one for the PSP and one for the PS2. I have no information on them other than these two links on Amazon.co.jp. I believe this should be noted in the article(s) (because I think the PS2 game is for Fushigi Yūgi Genbu Kaiden but I don't know anything about the PSP game.

And I'm not qualified to write the article/notation/whatever myself. So if someone could add this... that'd be great.

  • Added to the Genbu Kaiden page and this page.Lijakaca (talk) 20:32, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Geocities website in the External Links

It seems odd to have a Geocities website in the external links of an article because Geocities websites are not very professional. --Credema 07:04, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

List of episodes

Where is the list of episodes? There's one? -- *Luna* 17:49, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Can someone add a template for this anime?

Can someone add a template for this anime? So it can be properly organised, because of the separate articles, using a Category is too confusing. Can someone help?

Samantha Lim88 13:10, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Already did one. Please add links to the Eikoden and Genbu Kaiden pages. I'll try to edit and add those links in the template.

Samantha Lim88 13:51, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Keisuke Yuki should have a separate page.

Someone deleted the page and I've re-create the page again, but someone have put a redirect to Fushigi Yugi. Even they redirect to this page, there's no information on him. Although he don't play a much important role in this series, but he plays an important role in the Eikoden OVA. Samantha Lim88 02:57, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Plot summary too long...

The plot summary is too long. Everything in the main page seems messy. Someone should create a template for this article. Because there's the prequel (Genbu Kaiden) and sequel (Eikoden). It's messy... Can someone give a hand? I don't know how to create a template.

Thanks, Samantha Lim88 13:17, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Useful Links

I've added links to the novel translations and Fire of Suzaku's Wings. The Gaiden novels aren't available in English and the site is back up. I see no reason why an information resource like Wikipedia ought not to link to the only available English translations of the novels

As for Fire of Suzaku's Wings site, although it's not fabulously professional-looking, it's better than the average fansite. It is an excellent resource for information on official merchandise, the soundtracks, the drama CDs, various Japanese printings of the manga -- important stuff that isn't in the Wikipedia article but still valuable info. Please don't delete it from the links list just because it's fan-made. People ought to be able to find this info easily. LauraOrganaSolo 15:58, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
