Revisions

I am going to remove this portion, since it is not history unless I hear otherwise in this discussion page:

"The university has a growing number of programs. Business and Education are the most popular majors. Frostburg has colleges in education, business, and liberal arts and sciences,[3] and, in addition to the baccalaureate, awards master's degrees in both arts and sciences."

I've completed this today --Dual64bit (talk) 14:18, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

This article reads like an advertisement or a college brochure- lists of classes, personal opinions, and other things of that ilk do not belong on the page. This article should be much shorter and to the point. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.191.233.79 (talk) 19:55, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

absolutely, and as i like to point out, an article's subject appears MORE notable, not less so, when well written, NPOV, and when trimmed of nonnotable content. so, really, theres a mcdonalds near frostburg? that must make it the ONLY UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD that has access to mcdonalds.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 05:28, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

My edits

All my edits have been reverted. Is there any indication that the material i removed was in any way notable? this was not vandalism on my part. i removed material which was clearly promotional, as in passages reading like "if you want to enroll, visit our website". I added brackets to some names, found a few notable things which i added. I would like to see some discussion, as we have already discussed this article above. If someone thinks that some of what i removed should be added back, how about adding back sections with some reference indicating notability. i will say that the stephanie roper murder means that her mothers mention here which i removed may be notable, but that article is being debated as well. i would not revert that, but i may revert what was just done to my edits.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 07:14, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

False alarm, it was an honest attempt by the editor to revert what probably appeared as vandalism. May all editors be as honest and conscientious as they were. Again, if anyone feels my edits were excessive, add back with reasons and sources, and lets talk about it.(mercurywoodrose)76.245.46.57 (talk) 07:44, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
