Filming location[edit]

I had recently traveled to Albuquerque, NM and saw a filming location for this movie, it was actually in Rio Rancho, NM on the northern outskirts of Albuquerque. Like 3 large blocks from my brother-in-laws house. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.102.146.212 (talk) 22:39, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Evil Ed surname?[edit]

Right now, the MTV article being used as a reference for Evil Ed states: "the two spoke a bit about the surprise casting of "Stay" singer Lisa Loeb as "Evil" Ed Thompson's momma." [1] Someone keeps changing the surname to 'Lee.' Obviously we can not have the article say one thing, when the reference says something different. Can someone who's seen the film confirm what the end credits say, and find a new source if the MTV one is incorrect in stating Thompson? Starhunterfan (talk) 12:38, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you can get a hold of the actual script, his name is Lee in the script and end credits of the movie. A change as a nod to Christopher Lee, who used to play Dracula against Peter Cushing as Van Helsing (part of the basis for Peter Vincent). — Preceding unsigned comment added by JTheGoblinKing (talkcontribs) 06:18, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The reception section is painfully bias on this page[edit]

1. The reception does not talk about the so far very poor box office results, opening at number 5 and earning less than the original with it's limited release, without including inflation.

2. Though 1/4 of reviews are negative there is no mention of ANY negative reviews at all.

3. Someone keeps changing the reception to say it has 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. It does not. It's at 75%.

I thought this sort of thing was supposed to be devoid of fan tampering. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JTheGoblinKing (talkcontribs) 06:20, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately not when "anyone can edit". But we can get the page semi-protected from IPs if it keeps happening, which is only temporarily. —Mike Allen 10:15, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Release section[edit]

I'm going to change the home media section to a release section in order to meet the MOS:Film guidelines. I'm going to add information about the Comic Con screening, and I was also going to expand on the home media release to include the following language. If any one has any suggestions on anything else to add, or has edits to the home media draft, feel free to reply. --TravisBernard (talk) 23:21, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and made this update, but I'm open to keeping the conversation going. --TravisBernard (talk) 19:19, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Killed Motorist[edit]

"Chris Sarandon, who portrayed Jerry Dandridge in the original film, makes a cameo appearance as a motorist killed by the vampire (his character in the remake is credited as "Jay Dee", after the initials of his original character)."

The motorist who was killed was, by viewing it less than 20 minutes ago, was actually [Ragsdale], not Sarandon. Protenpinner (talk) 13:44, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was Chris Sarandon (check the end credits). Here's a video where he talks about shooting the cameo: [2] Starhunterfan (talk) 16:37, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
