Untitled[edit]

Hello Victuallers, I was uploading that picture (and one of the authors of the lemma in German Wikipedia). I have a better copy here. I would like to change your version back to mine. The Berlin State Library is looking for more information, but it seems now, this is the only surviving picture of Thulemeyer in the world, so why not use it. Besides I dont like this square!Taksen (talk) 17:59, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I modified it (as a draft first) as the German wikipedia did not want "their" version loading to commons. If you see how to load another then feel free. However wiki images in the text should not be sized I am told ... but again you are free to break the guidelines. Not sure there is much more I can do... but I'll maybe do some rewording where the transaltion is unusual. Victuallers (talk) 18:04, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer sized pictures to 300 px, because the text is easier to read, just like in newspapers. With these thumb pictures one gets tired of all the long sentences and the boring lay out. It is better for everybody eyes, not to move over the screen all the time. Wait till I uplated my other version of the picture.Taksen (talk) 18:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer big pictures too, and set my preferences to display them.--Wetman 04:04, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Anglicized name[edit]

Why is the subject's name rendered in English, when none of the other names mentioned are?--Wetman 04:04, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
