I've just completed a quick online search and I've discovered that as far as I can tell all the online sources seem to repeat the information in the Wikipedia article. Perhaps of more concern is that there does not seem to be a 'Burgmüller Society' out there to promote his works. I've also tried the Internet Archive to see if there was a period biography, but with no luck.Graham1973 (talk) 17:03, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I pulled a little bit of biography from Philip J. Bone's book and inserted refs where I could. Still some unsourced material, but better. There are many foreign language bios for him on Wikipedia. Might be a way to find other bio resources online.Jacqke (talk) 02:22, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
