Notability template[edit]

@User:Smasongarrison Hi, I see no problem in regards to notability, on the contrary, the article cites multiple independent news sources that cover the organization extensively. If explanation is needed, the reason the organization makes news would seem due to its part in a largely scrutinized phenomenon. I therefore think the template should be removed. Thanks for reaching out; so here was my thinking (and I had somewhat mixed feelings about it; hence I tagged it rather than marking it as reviewed). It seemed that the stories were all about how the organization had grown, but it didn't seem to me that the coverage indicated that organization "had any significant or demonstrable effects on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education", just that it existed and had grown.

Project Makom, an initiative that helps former and questioning Haredis find their place within Orthodoxy, has seen membership almost double from 85 in 2019 to 160 in 2020.

and

He was one of more than 150 people last year to join the New York-based organisation Freidom, which supports former ultra-orthodox navigate culture and language in secular US society.

and

Hundreds of former chasidic Jews are experiencing Freidom — a play on the Yiddish word “frei,” or free — a social group for individuals who left their respective close-knit and closed-off charedi Orthodox communities.

. So I think if you could strengthen the article by making it clearer how the organization has an impact.Mason (talk) 00:49, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
