Selected films[edit]

How are "Selected films" selected? Everyone's idea of their best films is different. Why not just give a full filmography? -- SteveCrook (talk) 13:11, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SteveCrook - "Selected films" is another way of saying "Partial filmography". It simply means that no one has taken the time to include a full filmography, hence if I come across a film Young was in, I might add it to the list. For example, if I create an article that Young filmed, and it's not on the list, I'll add it. But feel free to have a go at it. If you do, the 2 best sources are AFI and BFI. You can use IMDB, but it's not a reliable source. Hope that makes it clearer. Onel5969 TT me 13:17, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Why not just give a full filmography from the beginning? It's detailed clearly on the AFI & BFI listings, and even more clearly on the ever reliable IMDb  :) -- SteveCrook (talk) 16:52, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
