MGM contract player?[edit]

So amazing actor, but did he have a contract with the studio, Frank Morgan was a veteran and maybe they didn't have to put him under contract, however look at his credits; Saratoga, Wizard of Oz, Boom Town, Tortilla Flat. Titular or title?[edit]
