Windward helm[edit]

I appreciate this article, obviously I came to look for information on the topic. That having been said, it would improve, in my opinion, if '<weather helm>' were added after the words 'weather vane'. I say this because it took me several readings to get the implication/explanation; I would not have understood it except for my own sailing experience. This is offered as a very small modification to a wonderful piece and might contribute to polish; the substance could hardly be improved and I've gleaned much more of rig tuning from it: thank you. If the term 'weather helm' were used it could hyperlink to that definition.

Thank for the kind words— I wrote the section on forestay tension and some of the history. It is the only article I have written or edited. If I can remember how, I’ll make the changes you recommend Steverlou (talk) 01:44, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
