What about his other talent?[edit]

Foster Brooks had a lesser known talent. When I was in high school in the early 80's, he appeared on the Wink Martindale Celebral Palsy Telethon in Jackson, TN, and surprised everyone by singing "Danny Boy". I didn't get to see his performance, but according to the newspaper reviews and my friends who did watch him, he had an incredible voice!97.73.64.156 (talk) 01:21, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to post a YouTube link that showed Brooks singing, but for some reason it wouldn't post. Anyway, go to YouTube and type in "Foster Brooks singing", and it should come up. He sounded just like Robert Goulet!97.73.64.143 (talk) 22:18, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We don't allow YouTube links; what you were probably linking to is a WP:COPYVIO anyways. That opinion is probably subjective in the first place. Nate (chatter) 05:11, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Performing in his later years[edit]

In September of 1993, I sat across from Foster Brooks in the first class section of a flight from St. Louis to Springfield, MO. At the moment I don't remember if I heard him saying that he was going to Branson to perform, or if I just assumed that. But in any case, I do remember him getting off the plane with a hanging bag which would have contained a suit. Someone might want to do some research to see if Mr. Brooks performed in Branson in September 1993. And then add it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.98.11.162 (talk) 02:05, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Should also mention Tattletales[edit]

Quote: In the 1970s, Brooks appeared as a celebrity panelist on the game shows Hollywood Squares and Match Game, and in 1979, he appeared in the film The Villain as a bank clerk.

This should also mention that he was on Tattletales (with wife Teri) in 1976. 66.177.251.92 (talk) 14:18, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Reindeer" inspiration[edit]

For the record, I concur with this removal. Apparently a source that is otherwise reliable got misinterpreted by an editor. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 22:48, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
