- the Jah mentioned is not YHWH of Judaism and Christianity, but the Jah of the Ras Tafari movement, who is also referenced in Get Up, Stand Up ("mighty god is a living man"). The lyrics are quite personal, and he sort of tells that whatever happens, he still hold tight to his beliefs.
