map projection[edit]

The world map shown uses a non-equal area projection, which exaggerates the amount of high index forest at high latitudes. Canada seems to have twice the area of green compared to the green area shown around Peru, it is actually less. From the table: Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia together 3899260 km2 , Canada 2968268 km2 2A02:A444:48EE:1:9CB8:CE0C:F55B:B500 (talk) 09:19, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
