Decline in popularity[edit]
Should we find sources about its decline in popularity? back in the day I used to use it and love it; I stopped working with Digital Forensics and a few years later had a client who would benefit from it, contacted all co-workers and they were in agreement that as much as most of us outside law enforcement did not like EnCase, it was pretty much the only way to go nowadays, since FTK had fallen truly behind.
I never did the job at the end, so I did not get to compare both.
Anyone?
