Sample Box

I'm missing it entirely - there's something wrong with the coding. Could someone fix it, please? CaliforniaDave (talk) 11:51, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

"Unlikely" collaboration?

I had a bit of a problem with this sentence:

A highlight of the sessions was McCartney's unlikely alliance with Elvis Costello, with whom he composed many new songs.

First of all, it sounds like an opinion. And considering the many various people that both McCartney and Costello have collaborated with, it doesn't sound all that unlikely. Besides, both of them had known each other for many years prior to Costello inviting McCartney to play on the Spike sessions.

What certainly can't be disputed is the fact that the alliance produced enough songs to be spread out over four albums and a B-side between them. So, I highly doubt that anyone will complain about replacing "unlikely" with "productive". --Fightingirish (talk) 14:21, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
