Article name: Singer?[edit]

Just wondering. Fish is much more than a "singer", he is a composer, a lyricist. Perhaps "musician" would be more appropriate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.160.75.205 (talk) 02:11, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New article title[edit]

The article should be moved back to Fish (singer). He hasn't been in Marillion for 22 years and published several records as Fish, so there's no legitimiaion for still stressing the Marillion connection as prominent as that. 21:12, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Qualifications[edit]

The source gives "7 GCSE 'O' levels - History, Chemistry, English, Maths, Biology (grade A), German, English Lit (grade B)."

It seems far more likely that at this period he would have taken Scottish Certificate of Education O-grades. Anyway, should these grades even be in the article? We effectively only have the subject's word for them, and they don't seem all that relevant to his career. Moreover, the one thing we can be sure of is that as referenced they are wrong, as GCSEs were only introduced in September 1986, and wouldn't have been taken in Scotland at any period. --John (talk) 23:23, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removed entirely; it cannot be true and even if true does not belong in this article. --John (talk) 14:23, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
