Original show[edit]

I have a feeling the original programme was actually called Find a Family rather than Find Me a Family, but I could be wrong so I won't change it. I also seem to recall it started as a Midlands based programme on Central Television, airing after the main Central News bulletin, and presumably it went national due to its success.
