This page was originally listed under WP:RA under the Film Genres list. I assume based on the placing (and the relative obscurity of the term in English) that the author was looking for art film, and so have redirected it. That said, there is some ambiguity -- "Film d'art" refers specifically to a company founded in 1908 in France that tried to adapt great works of literature and the stage to the then-new medium of theatre as a sort of "educate the proles" enterprise as near as I can tell. That usage is not covered on the English wikipedia as far as I'm aware. Zelse81 (talk) 21:54, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
