Of course, now its deleted, but in 1980 it said a woman named "Natasha Bobo was born today, but when it was clicked it went to CBS's past show "Together We Stand". (Trampton 08:41, 11 February 2007 (UTC)).
Announcement of the retirement of the Pope....
....well, I have undone edits regarding this twice now, and other established users seem to agree. I would like to build concensus here: what do other think? Is the announcement of the retirement notable enough to be included (His actual retirement would be notable enough, imho)? I think WP:DOY would point to it not being notable enough. Iranian Revolution
@Howcheng: Hey, I checked the article and sought a section tagged with a POV template while there was no discussion on the talk page dealing with this issue. I also searched for the user who had tagged the section and I found that the user is no longer active. So, I removed the tag since there was no ongoing dispute and I think it's now eligible for the main page. What do you think?Saff V. (talk) 13:15, 30 January 2016 (UTC)

Possible discrepancy re: "gerrymandering"
The entry in question is 1812 – Massachusetts governor Elbridge Gerry is accused of "gerrymandering" for the first time. When the "gerrymandering" link is clicked, that page's Etymology section ( [[1]] ) states "The word gerrymander (originally written Gerry-mander) was used for the first time in the Boston Gazette on 26 March 1812."
Apparently, one or the other is incorrect. Can anyone shed light on which is correct?

The sentence that reads "Kassa Hailu is crowned Tewodros II, Emperor of Ethiopia, by Abuna Salama III in a ceremony at the church of Derasge Maryam" needs a period at the end. 98.210.124.96 (talk) 01:22, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
