I think this article needs a clean up (might be wrong terminology). His death date could be wrong in the info box, plus, the article text seems to be more about the Ecuadorian president than Rayo. Malcuthrad (talk) 12:04, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable for a single event[edit]

When a person is notable for only one event such as a notable crime, then usually an article is written about the event, rather than the person notable for that event. A person known only in connection with that single event should generally not have an article written about them. In this case the article is primarily about the assassination of Gabriel García Moreno.
