"Fat Boy Slim"

Having stumbled across Bumble Bee Slim's article, I came here to find out where Cook got the name from, but we don't say anything. Is there nothing in RS about the name's origins? Is there even RS saying "no-one knows where it came from" or similar? It's a surprising omission. --Dweller (talk) Become old fashioned! 15:12, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

In this NPR interview, Cook says: "It doesn't mean anything. I've told so many different lies over the years about it I can't actually remember the truth. It's just an oxymoron - a word that can't exist. It kind of suits me - it's kind of goofy and ironic." Tevildo (talk) 09:03, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
Brilliant. Adding to article. --Dweller (talk) Become old fashioned! 10:14, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
Both Fatboy and Slim are vintage DE razor models from Gillette. Coincidence or not? Is there any information about that anywhere? --MMaukas (talk) 09:46, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

The Railway Tavern, Reigate

"At The Railway Tavern in Reigate, Cook met Paul Heaton". I can find no source to cite for this (lots of other places mention it too, but they all seem to be direct or slightly reworded quotes from Wikipedia). Additionally, I can find no evidence that a pub with this name ever existed in Reigate. Anybody able to find something to corroborate this? Gavinatkinson (talk) 11:48, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
