I noticed there were several places in this article where the word "mutate" was used. Is there a difference in Marvel terms between a mutant and a mutate? If not, shouldn't the more common word be used consistently? MK2 02:50, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Found the answer in another article. It appears, in the Marvel universe, mutants are people with naturally occurring mutations and mutates are people with artificially induced mutations. MK2 19:53, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
