Background[edit]

The version in the article at present is that in the DNB, and the memoir of Roche. The ODNB is neutral on the version where Roche was born in Dublin, and possibly some years before 1786. Charles Matthews (talk) 07:32, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
