Untitled[edit]

This is fucking vandalism. But vandalism that the bots protect. Someone either delete the page or contact an admin. It's supposed to be a chumbawamba album.

What you have to do is go back in the history to the last good version, edit page, save, and then it's fixed. The bot reverted you because you replaced the vandal's text with a single line (all it saw was a deletion, not a replacement). Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 03:46, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Chumbarebel.jpg[edit]

Image:Chumbarebel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:42, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Bad Squire[edit]

Since this was originally a poem and not a song, shouldn't the article state where the tune comes from? Especially as in places Chumbawamba adapted the lyrics to fit the tune better. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.146.215.182 (talk) 11:54, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

English Rebel Songs 1381–1984English Rebel Songs – This album was published in two different versions with slightly different names, both names starting "English Rebel Songs" but followed by different years. Currently our article title uses the second of the two album names. I'd propose using "English Rebel Songs" as the appropriate generic title for an article covering both versions, rather than using one of the two names at the expense of the other. This shortened title is used in the on-CD print of at least the original CD print. TSP (talk) 01:11, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
