Needs More Research[edit]

I became interested in Bagster's English Hexapla a few decades ago, when I happened to see one on a library shelf. I was so thrilled that I made a photocopy of the entire volume, which I still have in a box. A few years ago, I wanted to have a bound version that looked nicer than my photocopy, so I ordered one online. I soon discovered that the two volumes are not the same. It turns out that Bagster published more than one version of his Hexapla. The main difference between them, as far as I can find, is the extent of the "History of English Translations and Translators," located in the front of the Hexapla. I don't know how many versions Bagster ultimately produced. I've had difficulty finding details about his Hexapla, though I have managed to locate a little bit of information. @Pooua: have you done any progress in your research? Veverve (talk) 21:35, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Veverve: No, I'm sorry to say that I haven't gone any further. Pooua (talk) 04:28, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
