Death on the Nile - re citation required in Literary Significance[edit]

The claim elements of Death on the Nile were reproduced in Endless Night appears to me evidently correct, as someone who has read both books. Without giving spoilers, the similarities include the relative situation of the murderer and victim, the nature of the involved third party and the nature of the deception through which the murder was made possible, as well as the motive. Is there any rationale for why Agatha Christie book entries in Wikipedia often include the cover prices when first published?
