Site

Which website should be added as the official site for Emily Osment in the infobox? Bibliomaniac15 01:56, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

None of them should, the field should be left blank. Unless Emily has officially endorse one of the sites as "official fan site" or something, let it be. -- Zanimum 19:56, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Links

Should I remove the internal links which lead to inexisting pages? Bouncing Rat 18:20, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Official Site

Sorry, can you tell me a good site to add to the official site? Also, if you remove the site, put in another site to replace it. Bibliomaniac15 03:58, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

i got a message about vandalism on removing the official site, i am the webmaster of that website Emily Osment World, and my site is not the official website, its just a fansite thats why i removed it. Potterhead
Don't add anything under official website, unless it really is an official website. (Self-explanatory) ` Natasha1994 15:28, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Removal of information

Wasn't there more information on this page before? WAVY 10 15:15, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

yes there was , someone has been deleting them in i think some user has typed whatever to her filmography i want to report this vandalism. Prepelos 12:18 10 August 2007 (UTC)

It is not vandalism to removed unsourced or unverifiable information in good faith, if that was what was done. Replacing information with "whatever" is possibly vandalism or some new editor not familiar with the rules. If it was not recent, just let it go. Go over the history of the article and add back in the stuff you think is missing. Just be sure to follow the wiki article policies listed at the top of this discussion page or information you add can be challenged and removed.--NrDg 13:42, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Other roles...

I accidentally pressed enter before putting my reason for entering that info. Anyway, my source for it was the Cast Bio in the Official Site for "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It". It list those as her other works. P.S. For some reason I'm just screwing up at what I press, I just wanna strangle myself. lol. ZSoraz 03:31, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

I see where it says that but I'm still not sure if it's true. Ospinad 20:51, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Edits needed

I found an error in the 1st paragraph: the spy kid trilogy link should be linked to article "spy kid trilogy", not "spy kid". Besure to relocate this link after protection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.80.35.121 (talk) 09:35, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Early Life Born in Los Angeles, California where her family still resides, to actor Eugene Osment and Theresa Osment (née Seifert), a teacher. Osment has never been a stranger to the world of entertainment and acting. Her father, Eugene Osment, is an actor of various films, and her older brother is famous Academy Award-nominated actor Haley Joel Osment.

why was picture deleted

This article had a nice,free-license picture and it was deleted...that file history says that it was deleted as per CSD criteria 12 (corrupted/no image). How did the file get corrupted??? a few days back it was fine but now its gone...i hope the pic gets uploaded again...Gprince007 (talk) 08:03, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

See w:commons:Commons:Deletion_requests/Image:Keira_Knightley.jpg Basically the uploader got a rep for not being truthful about his ownership of the images he uploaded to commons and released for free use so the people in commons deleted everything he uploaded. A bot removed the links to the deleted images that were in the en wiki. --NrDg 16:49, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

WPIX Reference

Concerning the following:

On December 19, 2007 Emily appeared on WPIX

I don't really think someone appearing on a station is notable in and of itself (though if it was a show originating from the station, I would be somewhat more in favor of keeping the statement). That would be like saying Howie Long appeared on WAVY. If it just says so and so appeared at such and such statement; it doesn't really fit either the notability or importance requirements. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 13:49, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

If the interview was notable or popular for something she said or did, then in such a scenario, we can expand the statement to include her comments. But if it was a regular celebrity appearing on a routine interview, then i guess it doesnt need to be mentioned. Gprince007 (talk) 15:26, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
That's nn, I'll remove it. Carl.bunderson (talk) 16:53, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

DC Games 08

Wasn't Emily Osment on the Yellow team on the Disney Channel Games 2008? Could someone with more Wiki knowlege please add that in? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.246.50.231 (talk) 07:12, 24 March 2008 (UTC) I think you meant DC Games 2007. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 16:45, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

I totally agree. people need to put everything when they edit something!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.242.95.135 (talk) 04:36, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Well, you are not a user, therefore you do not know about how to edit things. Editing can be hard. You must look over everything written AND you must research more on that person to find out about any information that links to the new information, you see? It's not as simple as typing in "Emily Osment is famous." You must include she is an actress, her credits, her personal life, etc. And to answer your question, yes, she was on the "Yellow Team" in the DC Games of 2007. Mistake

I was editing off the guest appearance of Emily Osment in the Suite Life On Deck when I accidently deleted parts of it. Can someone change this? -Wormow —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wormow (talkcontribs) 03:12, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Music Video/Push Play

I'm sorry, Does anyone not know about it? She was in the music video for Push Play Midnight Romeo. I thought she looked really good. But anyways can someone add that to her music video section? I could do it myself but I just wanted to let everybody know that she was in the music video, so if you don't believe me just look up "Push Play - Midnight Romeo" and she is the mysterious girl in it, or Juliet I should say. But can someone please add it to hr music video section? Sprite7868 (talk) 09:28, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Philanthropy

This needs to be deleted but the article is locked. Signing a couple shirts and showing up to a fund raiser do not constitute philanthropy which is generally accepted as a large amount of time and or resources given to promote human welfare. Most philanthropists give almost all of their time or extremely large sums of money and are dedicated solely to helping others. IRMacGuyver (talk) 13:13, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Never mind it was only a partial lock so I took care of it. IRMacGuyver (talk) 11:38, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

"Spy Kids Trilogy"

Please change "In 2003, she reprised her role in the third and final part of the Spy Kids trilogy, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, which grossed $197 million worldwide." This is no longer the final movie in the series, and as such the series is no longer a trilogy, either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.113.165.100 (talk) 15:01, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

File:EmilyosmentEMA.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:EmilyosmentEMA.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Vandalism

Someone has been changing names and links on pages relating to Emily and her brother, and the shows. The names are being changed to "Hannah Moontana" and "Spy Babies." I fixed the corrects, but someone with more Wiki knowledge should look into who's making changes and consider locking the page(s) for a bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.106.1.45 (talkcontribs)

The page is being vandalized again - well, at least there's tons of words missing and sentences mixed up (especially in the personal life section). I don't know too much about her myself, I just visited the page, but could someone maybe clean it up?

Article is Grammatically Incorrect...

Specifically, from the "Careers" section down. I found many mistakes — from improper pronouns and misplaced italics to improper punctuation. Some one please fix this. It is glaringly obvious when read and very subpar to Wikipedia's standards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.140.55 (talk) 03:58, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

Copy and paste here exactly the sentences so something can be done. -- Joseph Prasad (talk) 03:59, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

The entirety of the subsection "2006–2007: Hannah Montana, Rise to fame and musical beginnings," last two paragraphs of "2012–2013: Investments in TV, Disney output and new projects" and the entirety of "2014-present: Young & Hungry and Movies" and the entirety of the "Philanthropy" in "Other Ventures." Again, just pointing out incorrect grammar, punctuation and misused pronouns. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.140.55 (talk) 04:21, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

Yes, what EXACTLY, it would be easier if you post the sentences, putting the incorrect grammar in bold. -- Joseph Prasad (talk) 04:23, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

Images

Hello everyone ! I just wanted to ask something about the pictures, I had occasion to know that we can use certain images if the rights of the image allows, therefore, have sought some that maybe we can use are the following:

I hope they tell me that the images meet the requirements for use in Wikipedia. -- AndruL (talk) 13:58, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
