Elve(r)skud?[edit]

Everywhere else, this poem seems to be called Elverskud, not Elveskud. --AndreRD (talk) 10:26, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not entirely sure, but Elveskud is definitely the spelling used in Grundtvig's scholarly edition (https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=gIzkAAAAMAAJ&redir_esc=y). Elverskud seems mainly to used of a song by Niels Gade (https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elverskud). I suggest we keep the title of this article as it is and leave Elverskud open for the entry on Gade's composition, adding disambiguating hatnotes to each entry. I might translate the Danish Elverskud entry into English. Alarichall (talk) 18:02, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, so I followed this idea up and created Elverskud, adding appropriate hatnotes. Alarichall (talk) 20:30, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I added the elverskud spelling as well, since while it may be historically correct it is certainly not the most commonly used name for the folksong in contemporary Danish.·maunus · snunɐɯ· 20:36, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dansk Viser[edit]

Fascinated by true origin of Schubert's The Erlking. Will share with my musical circle and give credit where credit is due. Classic33 (talk) 19:34, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Glad it's been of interest :-) Alarichall (talk) 12:29, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
