Spat with E.A. Bowles[edit]

In fact, this episode is an example of her paranoia because both she and the owner of a garden in Henley (the one later acquired by George Harrison) apparently took Farrer's comments as a personal insult and Willmott's resultant behaviour was, to say the least, bizarre. Sorry I can't find a better reference as the story itself, with various embellishments, is reasonably well known.IXIA (talk) 20:45, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have a source that puts a date on her becoming paranoid but according to ODNB it was "with old age", and she would have been 56 in 1914. It's quite plausible that that this was an early sign, but it may be WP:SYNTH to imply a connection without a source that makes that connection. I didn't think it fitted chronologically in the later years section, as the other examples of her paranoia there are from the late 1920s. January (talk) 21:43, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
