In reference to the 'salary was good' portion at $125/month or $1,500 a year of 1930 dollars would be worth: $21,126.76 in 2014. Not exactly good IMO. Perhaps removed the the 'was good' part and simply state the salary. Jocamero (talk) 01:10, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This was during the Great Depression, plus she was a woman. According to this source, in the 1930s, a white woman's average annual salary was $863. Clarityfiend (talk) 12:09, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
