Citation was weak[edit]

The citation for the statement about prohibited uses (tax payments, alimony payments, collection agencies) was a single bank's online faq, so I deleted it. Here is the old reference: https://www.associatedbank.com/personal/bank/online-banking-and-bill-pay/frequently-asked-questions

Possible copyright violation[edit]

Whomever inserted that huge quotation from a New York Times article into the article is either immature or an inexperienced writer. First, no writer inserts a quotation like that; there are procedures and traditions for transitioning into a blockquote in formal written English. Second, the quote is too big; only one sentence should have been quoted in full and the rest paraphrased. I'm going to delete as a copyright violation soon if no one objects. --Coolcaesar (talk) 14:49, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of redirect[edit]

The article was redirected to electronic billing after a merge suggestion posted Jan 2012, however I fell the concept is different and justified in having it own article. I have restored the article after cleaning it up to make it specifically about electronic billing. Sargdub (talk) 20:59, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
