There are some fabulous restaurants and tapas bars. The fish is as good as you will get anywhere. Suggest tapas of Pulpo in Marios Bar. Special on Wednesdays is Puchero, a tasty vegetable stew. Local fish such as sardines are grilled and served in Bar Playa Chica as well as plenty of tapas. Try Restaurante Avencio on the waterfront for excellent fish dishes. If you like paella, the best is in Rte Pescador. Enjoy a gambas al ajillo (garlic prawns) on the restaurant by the big beach - El Tamboril.
