It's my understanding that the heavy off-road car was, in modern terms, the equivalent of the unarmored original HMMWV. Obviously with a lesser power to weight ratio, because of the decades between them. See also: Mercedes-Benz W31. GMRE (talk) 21:12, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Seems there might have been a BMW 325 in this series, there was a BMW 326 in the 1930s - but would be good to find a reliable source. GraemeLeggett (talk) 11:44, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
